Each class were asked what they liked best about our school,

here are some of the children’s comments:

Nursery

I come to school to learn about things and get work done.

I like playing with the toys.

I learn to hold my pencil properly and now I can.

Reception

We love our outside area.

We are good at choosing, discussing and learning.

We do lots of singing and dancing.

We enjoyed growing our snack vegetables, but especially eating them.

Year 1

There are lots of nice people and it is a colourful place to learn.

I like my friends and teachers too.

School is great because we go on trips.

I love school because there are lots of books I like reading.

We do lots of exciting things.

Year 2

We get to do fun work about frogs, penguins and Brazil.

We like working at school, we work hard.

We get to learn lots of new things.

We have lots of friends and care about each other.

Year 3

There are great people to play with, good friends and fun adventure equipment.

I love French lessons.

I like swimming because it’s fun.

P.E. is good because you can get fit.

Year 4

Everyone cares for each other and we raise money by doing fun things.

You are treated the way you deserve to be treated.

It’s a wonderful place to be.

All the teachers are nice and they understand us.

Everyone works hard and takes care of our equipment.

Year 5

Everyone is supportive and always there for you.

Learning is fun and you have ‘freedom’ in your work.

You learn things with a ‘real life’ purpose.

You are allowed to have fun.

It is welcoming to new children and it is safe, secure and nice.

You are allowed to support each other.
